What about Nigel Pearson Dave? Would be a no nonsense headmaster type bit like Warnock and I think we could prize him away from Bristol city?! You can also be no nonsense so surely up your street? Workrate certainly won't be an issue

I played sunday league football today.
Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.
I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

A while ago I would've gone for Pearson without a doubt and tbf to him he seems to be turning them around, but with other names involved and how far Warbs has turned us around, I think we need a new ideas man with fresh thinking views.
Manning used to work in the West ham academy/ reserves and that does carry a lot weight imo.
I liked our style of play btw from the previous season, not this last one though, too boring.
