Didn't they have a troupe of dancing dolly birds as part of the televised extravaganza? Possibly called the Sky Soccerettes or something? Even back then I thought Christ! What is this!? it's not 1973 in Manchester is it????

Everytime I see or think about this first ever Monday night match, I always associate Baker Street to it.
I seem to have the impression/memory too of Gerry Francis really not happy about it, because we played Saturday then Monday.
