Ok keep him in post until his contract ends so we don’t have to pay him off, say goodbye at end of contract, but in the meantime can we not stop him picking the bloody team and formation for our last 6 games? At least try 4 at the back instead of the 7 we have been employing and not be so defensive! If he is allowed to pick the side for the remaining games you just know, as stubborn as he is, he won’t change anything and we will just have to lump it!

We were in the play off positions not too long ago !!Originally posted by MINCER View PostHe at least deserves the dignity not to be sacked but not to renew his contract.
If the board had acted earlier the option of placing him on gardening leave would have resolved any compensation details.
Gardening leave whilst we are 5th ?

That form table does highlight just how dramatic our downturn has been. Basically a bottom of the table side over that period. We have a tough run in but for me we need to show some fight over the run in and grind out at least three wins for there to be any justification for even considering to renew his contract otherwise thanks for helping to steady the ship but time to move on.
Is time for MW to show he can motivate and organise and time for the players to step up and fight for their boss and club. If that doesn't happen over the remainder of the season it shows me there is now a disconnect and we do need a change.
In modern football most managers don't last long. Sometimes a change is just needed.
