  • Its simple but we are making it hard….

    We were better during AFCON….

We are better when Willock is playing…

We are better when Willock is our no 10 with no interference of Chair…

Play Dykes and Gray upfront with Willock just behind them….with Field and Johansen as DMF….

    We win….

We were lucky to scrape wins during AFCON when Chair was missing,it’s too easy for teams to double /triple mark Willock

Johansen has been a passenger in the main this season, there in lies the biggest problem.

We will need some rotation. Willock coming on against a tiring Luton defence worked a treat and saved his legs a bit. He should start the majority of games but all players could do with a bit of a rest now and again. The fresher we are the better chance we have.

what is clear is that Johanson and Hendricks should not be in the same team..we can't carry both - i would have Johanson over Hendricks and put in Amos or Dozzell

agree that just Willock without Chair gives the opposition the chance to double mark him out of the game.
2 Ilias Chair Goals 8 Assists 5 Played 33 Goals per 90 0.27 Mins Per goal 335 Total Shots 53 Goals Conversion 15% Shot Accuracy 62%
3 Chris Willock Goals 7 Assists 11 Played 37 Goals Per 90 0.21 Mins Per goals 427 Total Shots 43 Gaol Conversion 16% ShotAccuracy 60%

Stats wise there is nothing to separate them

Think the stats underplay the importance of assists a tad.

And OK, we need someone to convert the assists, and then there's the imponderable "is it the strikers or the service to them" question.

But, in a way, Willock's greater number of assists might hold a key to that?

Also Chair tends to go it alone more, but only ends up with a similar goal conversion/shot accuracy rate.

            Lies, damn lies and statistics?

Willocks goals and assists during AFCON speak for themselves....
Also anyone that goes to games and can't see that Willock is far better than Chair is confused imo

              accommodating Chair is killing us!!!!

I also think Hendrick has been terrible, i don't see what he offers personally. I liked Amos during AFCON why not give him a run of games.
If it isn't broke don't fix it.. it doesn't have to be pretty, we were winning and that's all that matters at this point.

Willock at 24 should be able.to give us 90 mins unless he is carrying an injury . Would always start him as he can make things happen. If he's double marked then this releases others . As said Johansen and Hendrick shouldn't be Inthe same team unless we are comfortably winning . Chair is a idiot he could of cost us yday , surely he saw Sanderson go for a similar thing . MW needs to stand up and fine him
