Was given as 1600+, however it looked more than that as the SA Rd, Stan Bowles (Ellerslie) and School end stands all looked full from where I was sat in the lower loft.

Some empty seats in Upper Loft and Sa Road A and B blocks, however agree there was not 2000 empty seats, 500 tops, attendance more like 17500

I guesstimate Loftus Rd seating arrangement are roughly:-

5500 - Stan Bowles Stand
5200 - South Africa Stand (including hospitality)
4500 - The Loft
3200 - School End
18400 - Total ish

Has anybody got the actual figures?

Thank guys for making me feel that I was not seeing things.

There is no way there were around 2,000 empty seats as I had to change my normal ST seat as I brought my son with me and the Box Office struggled to find empty seats together other than in the lower loft (were we ended up).

Official capacity of Loftus Road is listed as 18,181 if the upper tier and lower tier of the school end isnt split between home and away fans.
