Agree , we were better when Utd had their stronger side out , Lingard, James, Greenwood, Matic , wan bissaka etc.Utd improved when the youngsters came on so there are no excuses.Originally posted by BuffaloThey looked better later in the game with the kids on than they did in the first half so that "excuse" is a nonsense. Most of the players they played yesterday probably won't be anywhere near their first 11 come the season start though.

Oh look what they keep writing about us. What a bunch of moaners !! Got their blinkers on ain't they !!
"the QPR supporters seemed to think they had won the Champions League with their mocking of United all because they beat a team with the average age of 21.8. I mean, that shows the levels between the Premier League and the Championship clubs like QPR who will brag about beating United in the same circumstances. Small time. The same could be said about the so-called supporters that want the manager sacked because United lost a pre-season match against a Championship club with no main starters from last season in the squad because of international tournaments. I mean, imagine getting giddy about your team beating a youthful United team, or even moaning about the result? It just seems clueless to me."

Not sure what formation Wed played but maybe he was used in a four. In a five he can bomb forward more. When we played a four both Barbet and Dickie looked accident prone at times but have looked very solid in a five. There is an issue that we look much better on the left than the right - certainly going forwards - so maybe he will be left exposed on occasion. But after Saturday's performance excited to see what he can do as he looked strong in the tackle as well as attacking to me. He's a free transfer so just hope we don't get on his back if he does let the odd winger get away from him. We can't afford a Kyle Walker so happy to trust the manager's judgement on him.Originally posted by QPRDave View PostFew owls are not very complimentary about Moses.
When his wonder goal was mentioned, one said " yeah but as a defender he's let in 3"
Apparently according to most on the thread he can't defend and is a pen waiting to happen
