My opinion is to keep it simple, same goes for the OTT moderating and merging of threads, but thats a different topic.

"Simple" works IMHO. Especially when we are in the age of browsing whilst using a phone..all the different sections are making it hard to contribute in my opinion.

I like the football and general chat board and the qpr chat, think that should be it though, the generals have a bit of banter but the football one has the rumours and opinions. No need for the board room IMO

A good idea to have different sections, shame they don't get used properley though.

The board room section only gets used for gp threads.

It should be called the "brush under the carpet" section

Totally agree mate and it underlines the general feeling that this MB has an agenda.

Merged threads on the same subject ARE important to have. So many times someone posts a day later what somebody else has posted.

As for sections, don't think we need all the premiership, championship and news sections for feeds and have maintained that all along.

We run a comp for MOM, so need that one
Board Room you get on most boards
Competitions need section for that

and football and general chat.
Nice to have memorials

Agree, board room section is a good idea.

Why don't you and the mods move more threads there to encourage it to grow? Board room topics are very popular at the moment, with a possible takeover on the horizon. The problem with the board room section is there is rarely anyone viewing in there
