  • Dave Clement

    Would have been 73 today.
What a tragic end for anyone let alone a fit young man who played at the very top of professional football.
Always remember seeing 5 QPR players named in an England squad and Dave was one of them.
What a wonderful time to be an Rs fan.
    What a team we had
    RIP Dave....

Clement and Gillard were a fine fullback paring.

I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

I still remember hearing the news on the radio " former England defender Dave Clement has been found dead at his home". I was left stunned. what a tragic end to his life. Possibly the best RB we ever had, with David Bardsley running him close.
