    Chima Eze

rumours that we already have the new Ebere on the books are true - just spotted he was among the subs for the U23’s yesterday v West Ham. That’s as good as it gets at the mo - we lost 5-0!

Surely 99% of sibling footballers are nowhere near as good as their more famous brother? John Rooney anyone.......
Hopefully the young Eze is a big talent too but I wouldn't count my chickens just yet.

A unique exchange deal took place in May 1967 when Peter Springett moved to Sheffield Wednesday and his older brother Ron, returned to Loftus Road.

‘A unique transfer deal involving £56,000 took place in May 1967, between Sheffield Wednesday and Queen’s Park Rangers, a deal in which the goalkeeping brothers, Ron and Peter Springett changed clubs.

Ron Springett started his career with QPR in 1952. He was transferred to Sheffield Wednesday for nearly £10,000 in March 1958.

Quite embarrassed I didn't think of our own.
All those had decent careers, didn't they.
Some better than others but even the "lesser" was a good player, so hopefully same for Eze junior

                          Hopefully, he'll be much better.

I agree that there have been many siblings to have good careers, probably more than had bad ones. So yes, let's be confident that Chima will be a good player too.

Can't make my mind up if this thread is a classic example of Survivor Bias or Confirmation Bias? Maybe it's both!? Anyway, young Eze is clearly one to keep an eye on.
