Record Sport understands Clarke intends to name the Australian born frontman in his squad for next month’s Nations League double header against Israel and the Czech Republic.

But Clarke fears the move could still be scuppered at the eleventh hour with Aussie top brass still attempting to convince the 24-year-old to pledge his future to the Socceroos instead.
