New squad limits

A very welcome addition to playing in the EFL imo.
Championship clubs must have a squad not exceeding 25 players, not counting u21s.
8 of which must be home grown.
Anything to try and even up the competition.

Yes but doesn't it all boil down to the definition of "homegrown"? I'm sure there's been a similar thing in the prem for ages but you look at most of them and think eh?????

Home grown is counted as anyone who has trained for a club in the UK for 3 years whilst under the age of 21 regardless of where they were born.

It still won’t level the playing field as the bigger/richer clubs will still have better players in their 25.
