Dunno how there can be any quibbling from Latics. Go into Administration during season and suffer 12pt deduction - simples. Every time a club goes into administration there will always be a shady tale of poor governance, opaque finances and dodgy ownership.... it goes with the territory.
I suppose you can't blame them from wriggling and appealing. The EFL has shown itself to be spineless and doddery so any club would be minded to push back and see if EFL caves in.

To top it off for them they are paying out far to much in wages for a club of their size and income so this was coming for them one way or another .
