    Live in the North?

Anybody on here in North West or remotely near Blackburn, what's the weather like today? Was rumours of snow but seem unfounded?

I'm in Altrincham 30 miles from Blackburn. It is currently sleeting heavily. Fair bit of snow mixed in but nothing is sticking. M56 is heavily congested. Pretty miserable up here and starting to regret buying my ticket!!

That's nearly 260miles 1 way. For a game that has little to no meaning. You have 9 hours of driving there and back. I love loyalty but that's madness surely?
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

It's effing evil! Really cold icey wind and rain whipping in that's on the verge of being sleet. It's not a night for Jessie's that's for sure!

Shandy? Are you driving the train back?

Reminds me of a Tuesday night cup game up at Ipswich circa 1980 something. On the way back, this R was drinking like a fish and throwing up all over the carriage, when we got back to I think it was Liverpool St. He walked to the back of the train, jumped in the drivers cab, and got ready to take the train back out

Fair play, what time do you anticipate getting home tonight?
