Scores with both feet, good in the air, holds the ball up...what is there not to like? Obviously the defending at this level is a little bit below par of the Championship, but the lad certainly knows where the onion bag is. Got to be worth a gamble as long as the fee is not extortionate

Fair play to the lad he's got the knack of finding or making space , but the only defending he'll find as bad as what we've just seen will only come from us

Shankland has made the step up from Ayr to Dundee Utd but he failed at Aberdeen and was released on a free. He also only joined Dundee in the summer on a 3 yr contract so it would be a matter of a) can he step up and b) cost. Personally think he is worth the risk if the price is right.
