It depends what you think Scowen and Cameron bring to the team, playing both to me sends out negative signals, they are both very defensive and tend to pass backwards a great deal, our formation needs a ball playing creative midfield player, not the turgid play of those 2

Brentford's high line was suicidal and screaming to be exploited. We should have been pinging balls into the acres of space behind them with BOS and Nakhi having a field day. However, we played desperately turgid slow ball and deservedly lost. A truly diabolical performance. Teams have worked us out and have cottoned onto fact that we cannot cope with opponents who play with high tempo and energy.

The last post references “high tempo and energy”. Where has that gone of late. The game we played earlier this year where we should have been up 5-0 at half was full of just that. Slow, methodical passing along the back by slow, methodical backs is pointless, especially when we have speed and finesse up front.
Yes, it’s high time we tried Wallace while moving Manning up. Need a CB with pace. Remains our number one transfer target in January.
