I never appreciated what a great player Tommy was till he was in our team.
I used to see Watford fans raving about him, but I couldn't see what he brought.
He was never a Les Ferdinand powerful type or a tricky little player.
But put him in the team and he played a part alright superb passer/creator and the odd goal

Very good player. Should have had more Premiership game time as opposed to some of the expensive wasters we brought in.
