However, WBA seem to think he's good enough for them

Transfer rates are inflated right now and everyone else is cashing in and setting valuations that don't make sense. We seem to be the only club who want to play nice and value our players sensibly even though we are watching our rivals in the same league command figures for a similar quality of player for 3 or 4 x times the amount we are asking for,

Furlong, done extremely well for us last year in a pretty poor team. He's young, one of own with over 100 appearances and the comments made are laughable just like the price we are selling at. This is the type of player who should be signed up on 3 year contract, playing week in week out for us and only sold if we feel a 5 mill plus valuation is met in the current crazy market.
    agree 100% .

As for other clubs not being interested therefor low bids, How do they clubs like West Brom there is no interest from other clubs. a good negotiator would at least pretend that there was already a £3m bid that they turned down. It's called negotiating and bluffing.

We all know players are overpriced these days so why accept these low bids that will mean even more players needing to be sold.

Freeman £5m of which about £1m will go to former clubs.
    Furlong £1.5m
    Smith £250-500k
    Luongo £1m?

That could mean 4 players out and maybe £6-7m in , less than Bristol City got for one defender. Great businessman the DOF is turning out to be.

No. He’s doing a bad job and should highlighted
          for his poor work

he shouldn’t get away with it. Hes not fooling many of us
          Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
          And many more mistakes

LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

Again guesswork by you all, fair to say no one on here has ever run a professional football club, we are all outsiders looking in, all with different opinions, however some on here just go on and on about the same thing.

You don't have to have worked in football to know a club is not being run properly and its stupid to even suggest otherwise. Do you need to have worked in football to see that Charlton, Coventry, Bolton and Blackpool are a s*** sho

Do not insult our intelligence with dumb points. Football is in a constant spotlight and the financial affairs of most clubs are easy to come by and trading of staff, players ect is widely known and aired in public right down to the nearest penny.
In this window alone we are seeing our rivals conduct business with similarly experienced and of quality players in which they are achieving much higher fee's. Part of the reason for this will be the fact there is not the necessity to sell but also because the other clubs have had the hindsight to sign their prospects up to contracts that will allow them to command the right type of fee.

If Furlong is being sold for 1.5 mill when similar players of age and experience are going for 4 x the amount in the same window then something is very wrong. Also, at 1.5 million the club really need to be asking are they doing everything they can to keep him at the club on a new deal. Offer him a new contract, play on the fact hes been at QPR since he was boy, let him know he's one of the first names in the starting 11 and that we are happy to insert a release clause into his contract of 5/6 mill if a bigger club comes in for him.

1.5 mill is just laughable and is another example of the inept running of this football club.

I for one am sorry to see Furlong go. Was captain for the U23s, and always showed up at game time for the senior squad.

What we are now seeing is a wholesale changing of the guard on the field -- new manager, new coaches, new players -- without much regard to those who've been a part of the QPR family the past 5+ years.

What we have yet to see is evidence that Les is the right guy for this job given the on-field results have been flagging for far too long.

Ergo, this is the year Les either gets a promotion, or the ax.

Blimey, your a little bit sensitive bless you.

I'll stick to being a keyboard warrior. I didn't realise articulating a opinion and calling you special would hurt your feelings so much. The thought of meeting up with a moron like yourself is pretty painful to be honest so ill give that one a miss.

                            Seriously ?

There is no way this squad is getting promoted this season or the next few

Can folk not see we are in the #### and paddling desperately for survival ?

We have the income of a L1 club, trying to survive in the championship against more and more Premier dropouts with parachute payments

The fact we havent been relegated in the last 2 seasons is down to Les and Lee Hoos

This season will be more of the same - better get used to it

You really are a ######, bottle job of the highest order, your just another of our fans who talk total ####, not sure you could run a bath let alone a football club.

1.5m is an absolute joke, what is really going on at the club. I'm sure we could've sold him for 5 to 6 million. Other clubs seem to get a good fee, we can't we for any of our players?

What is the point in developing new players to just give them away?
