Exactly, we had signed Green two-three weeks earlier, then Hughes signed Cesar and tried to offload Green. What a mess!

Seemed nice guy but never felt confident when he was between the sticks. All that punching out which seemed to end anywhere.

Also showed some world class saves at time. Remember one against Spurs where we drew. Both sets of players turned around as they assumed ball was going in, somehow kept it out. Our 1-0 at Chelsea made series of great saves. That said his punching out also gave them some unexpected opportunities!

As others have said daft signing but not really his fault.
