Admittedly I only saw about 10/15% of his games for us but every time I did see him he was very ineffective and I wondered what all the hype was all about? Happy to defer to the wisdom of those that saw him in more games than me though.Comment

Saw him on a number of occasions and he blew hot and cold (mostly hot) and I thought he was harshly treated by Warnock (who scarcely selected him in the Premiership) and then Hughes , who only offered him a 1 year deal then released him to sign Granero for £9m and a minimum £50k pw contract instead.Comment
