OK #### me off but this only a question if it's Warburton are we over exceeding our spending again he's a manager therefore should we need a manager and a d o f why can't one do the job of both and will it now be the case both being over ruled by other members ?? Eustace seemed to do a decent job against the odds if we have a manager would he over rule and choose too ignore what the coach does all week , just a thought that we might be going to high end again

If he is appointed then on face of it a sensible decision by board. Worked his way up before being made manager of Brentford and knows job and division inside out. His overall management stats pretty good. Eustace has done I think well in difficult circumstances and keeping him as assistant a good move.

We need a stable appointment in light of club circumstances and following on from SMC, IH and JFH not to mention ones before them.

Shouldn't be any ego issues working with a DoF either.

I think it's very rare previous fans have anything good to say about former managers.
Lets face it managers can have great seasons with one club and be awful with the next (Rowett)
We signed JFH on top of his game, and awful.
We've tried flashy spend spend spend managers, wheeler dealers, ex-players, ex England, it's just a lottery.
He won't do any worse than the ones we've had before.
Out of the crop realistically available to us, he is the best, experienced candidate

The fact he was influenced by watching Dave Sexton and the Rs does make me think he could be a great choice. If I get to see Football anything like during that period again I will be very very happy. Any appointment is a gamble but we are due a decent one soon.
