Only good thing about that is Wells getting a goal, might give him a bit of a boost for the run-in. Other than than, shite. Lynch useless for 1st goal and Lumley should have done better with 2nd .

He was out of position for the first being too close to his right post. He should have been in the centre of the goal as the deep cross went over him. Most amatuer keepers I've played alongside would not have been dragged that far away from a central position.

For the second he palmed back into play rather than out towards the corner flag. A harder one than the first goal, but a decent keeper wouldn't have pushed the ball that way.

Easy to blame SMC for this one, but Smithies wouldn't have conceded those two and had he placed we would have picked up three points in my opinion. Fine margins and it's down to the players when they cross that white line.
