Pen claims

Just home, haven't tried to find footage yet, what's everyone's thoughts? We had moved to couple seats by stairs when the 4 min injury board went up as our train was at 1725 so needed quick exit, 2 claims which we had an excellent view of, one looked a certainty, the ref should have to explain his interpretation of handball, he had a good view of it too.
I know we were not great but I felt cheated on the trudge back to Wigan North Western Station.

The handball in the box with about 20 seconds left in added time, looked a strong shout at the time. Haven’t seen a replay yet.

I thought the 1st one was a certain penalty, it hit his outstretched arm, the second one the player was turned so I don't think he knew much about it, I've seen them given!

what i saw on tv this morning was deffo a pen , dean ashton said so too

Saw it on quest this morning, shot from manning and the Wigan player sticks out both arms and ball bounces of his hand, PEN all day long, not even a 50/50, everyone in the ground knew it but nothing from the ref

And Ref has a very good view of it too, disgraceful decision, he must have been only person in ground not to have thought that was a pen ! Performance aside a point from 2-0 down would have been decent. We do seem to get more than our fair share against us.

Apparently this was the same ref we had for the Sheff Utd home game. Remember what happened there regarding their penalty. Think the ref has something against us.

100% a penalty. Wonder what the refs think when they see the play backs ? They gotta look fools and embarrassed. Do they sleep at night or do they toss n turn thinking about their c@ck up ?
