    Aces for Management & Managing

Cheers from the States. We should all feel very pleased that the club, on all fronts, has stabilized since the tumult of recent years. The manager has provided a system and a rationale that is starting to pay off, to the point where he can plug in different players when necessary and still expect similar results. It has created a comraderie as well in and beyond the locker room that translates into the character to never give up in a game, especially when behind. In the management suite, gold stars as well for Les, Lee and the others for managing talent. The recent loans of more than half a dozen young talents to gain game experience is all part of their master plan to create an ongoing funnel of skilled players to protect us from those who will move on to higher, better-salaried ground. What a difference. The fans should let both manager and management know how much that is appreciated.

yes , as for the rest of the O/P how on earth can the huge amount of crap that was brought in untill 18 months ago be viewed as a positive , it can only be seen as a waste of the parachute payment that can't be ignored , because we appear to have turned the corner

something very rarely seen on this site.

A well reasoned, accurate and non biased account of how things are at the moment without feeling the need to prove the new manager or old is better etc.etc been done to death etc.

Particularly like and agree with the bit "The manager has provided a system and a rationale that is starting to pay off, to the point where he can plug in different players when necessary and still expect similar results."

Good times to be a hoops fan at the mo.
