Best - Charlie Austin, he just completely changed our side & at 4 million catapulted us to the top flight.

Worst - Shaun Wright Phillips, for sure he scored ‘that goal’ against Chelsea, however I’ve never seen someone as useless at him, first touch, passing, shooting, everything. Even Nygaard was better then Wright Phillips!

Best: Austin, close 2nd Adel. Both transformed our seasons.
Worst: Jheeez... SWP probably for me, given he wasn't that bad before us and stole a living on a high wage for YEARS.

To the best of my recolection Austin only cost £2.5 million not £4 million. I think our best value signing in the past 10 years or so was Adel Tarabt for only £1 million or at this moment in time Freeman for £400,000. Our worst value signing ,take your pick from this lot,Caulker at £8.5 million ,Sandro at £6 million,mbia at £5 million and of course Samba at £12 million but at least we "apparently " got that money back or was never paid in the 1st place.
