No it wasn't. Leicester offered £12 that summer and it was turned down in the hope we'd go back up and then sold for £4m as he only had 6 months left

Why ? He's on a contract until 2021. Would only offer him more if he's offered more by someone else AND is tempted to do the off.

I wonder if MacLaren favours a more physical side mate. Smyth and Chair both look like they have bags of talent, but both are really lightweight. If you look at the players that have played regularly this season, big lads most of them. Even Eze (who admittedly doesn't get stuck in often), has filled out a bit since we first saw him.
