Play offs for me aswell. The team is no doubt good enough, but consistency is the key.

We're punching above our weight. End of January will be a better barometer after some tough games including Villa, WBA and Sheff Utd. Playoffs would be a stellar effort for this squad. Who knows.

        Happy with top 10.

I'm happy to be nowhere near the bottom 3. Sounds pessimistic I know, but I just can't see us getting playoffs.
Mid table / top 10 would be good for us.
But my god we are playing winning football, every player knows his role, and is eager to play it.
We are hard to beat, but the best teams will beat us, we all know that.
So refreshing having players who want the shirt, Wells works and works and he's only on loan.
Been on Ipswich site, and the comments on there right now is what we have had on here for the past few seasons.
Btw as Westy said the other week opposition fans doing the " bang average QPR " stuff is everywhere when we beat someone.
Good to see some posters on there though point out, "QPR let teams have the ball in areas that can't hurt them"

70 points for the season would be a good total and put us on the fringe of the play offs, considering no points in our first 4 matches to be on 37 one match over the halfway line is very good, 70 points in the second half of the season is impossible!

This is a very sensible thread with a good question,I think given the position we find ourselves "staying up" alone wouldn't be rejoyced, with a 16 point gap I would think the general feeling will be that we will stay up.
but the bar has been set a bit higher this season and I would think anything less than 12th spot would be regarded as slightly disapointing.

I thought aim was to stay ahead of Manings Rotherham? With a worse squad, aim has to be more points than last season. So, we need 0.9 points per game from now on

Keep all our players and enjoy the 2nd half of the season and if ww finish in the play offs then great but a top half finish would be a great season in my book.

I don't think we'll know the answer to this question until 1st Feb. If we can keep the squad together in the transfer window, I don't think play-offs is out of the question.

Get to 50 points as soon as possible and then see how far this side can go.

a couple more injuries and we could really come unstuck and we can't reinforce in January. That could be tough.

I think top half is a good effort. Top 10 a great effort. Play offs?? ???

Playoffs would be a fantastic achievement. If we did make them and we had a reasonably fit squad, there would be no reason not to fancy us.
If we don’t make them then as long as we a can di€k Brentford and Millwall away 3 or 4 nil and witness BFG end that w@nker from Leeds career in front of Ellerslie W block I’d be more than happy.

Not sure we are punching above our weight, but really; Do we meet those three teams in January? No wonder you will be happy with a top 10. But actually, what`s more important than league positions this year, is that we now have a group of players who hopefully want to play for QPR next year also.

Be more than happy with 10th. Injuries will go a long way in determining our season. We are beginning to look a bit thin at the moment so it was a good idea to blood a few capable youngsters yesterday. Some tough
games coming up but at least we can go into them knowing we have a chance. Also noticed Manning was not playing yesterday.
