    Nahki Wells

How good is it to have this lad in our side? What a difference a proper striker makes. Props to Hamed as well. Having these two playing up front (or as rotating options) has transformed us. But it's nothing any of us didn't know already and have been crying out for for three long seasons now. Amazing to think we relied on Matt Smith as our main man last season and not just survived but were comfortable. Once Wells and Hamed are properly integrated and SMC gets the team playing exactly as he wants this could be exciting. Would love to see Wells score a hat full. Hope we can buy him at the end of the season. Do we have that option?

Not since Charlie Austin have we had someone who genuinely looks a goal threat every time he gets the ball around the opposition area.

so far as i know, we don't have that option... and, of course, if he has a good season, there'll be plenty of clubs with fuller bank accounts than ours looking to sign him.

They signed him for £5m on a 3 year deal in Aug 17. This means he will have 1 year left and his value should be around half of that and within QPR's capability to buy him should he want to reamin.

No need to rush... lets look at them over 25+ games eh? Our club history is littered with loanees who flattered to deceive on arrival and then went to pot when we signed them proper. I grant you these two look very promising at the mo' though.

Has got about a 1 in 3 ratio for Huddersfield at this level which is a decent return. Agree on the other aspects of his game though - that ball into the box for Cousins in the first half was top drawer.

Exactly, he gives our attack a different dimension. The way he drew defenders last night gave Eze so much freedom and opportunity to get a shot away. Cousins too. Wells is class. Hope we keep him.

Seems strange that he still hasn't scored for us ?

Give him a chance to settle in. He's only played 4 games and is yet to complete a full 90, so not yet fully fit.

                          I think it's the boots he's wearing.

                            Only a matter of time.
