    Clive wilson

Been chatting with my fellow R mate and we both agree that Clive has been our best ever left back since we've been watching Rangers
going back to the Gillard days
    what you think?

Yeah, Clive was amazing. How he didn't get capped for England is baffling.

Sweet left foot and so calm on the ball. We were spoilt back in those days having 2 class full backs in Bardsley and Willo. What might be a tougher argument is, who was better out of Bardsley and Clement?

Great player and was part of the best full back combination with David Bardsley that I have seen at Rangers in my time. The other one had a brilliant left foit was Mad Mark Dennis!

Hand on heart cannot recall him having in bad game. Quality LB who would not look out of place in today’s game

Mad Mark from Pollards Hill. Absolute lunatic. I remember being in the paddocks when a load of ICF came in and started singing "Wifebeater, wifebeater ..." at him. He just sneered "Yeh that's right" at them and they all thought it was hilarious. They then cheered every time he touched the ball.

Ian Gillard was a better defender but Willo is certainly next after Gilly.

                    Yeah loved Mark Dennis too
a brilliant but brutal player whose lack of
                    discipline cost him England caps.
                    Shame really.

Sheep. Brevett was no replacement for Wilson who we sorely missed when he left.

I have supported Rangers for 55 seasons, since March 1969.

                              Definitely should have been.
