a complete waste of space we need players that can score twenty goals a season this player was real class in his day but right now he just dosnt have any more than 4 goals a season why buy another loser we desperately need goals goals and more goals,this player is a joke once more maclaren proves he cant buy a player we need to get ollie back and quick

Actually could work in many ways.not a fair comparison and Could well score many more in the championship. A loan would be risk free and could help our young inexperienced wingers to come on. Obviously there are other loans needed but still time. How on earth can you describe Routledge as a joke?

Pretty sure most of you lot are going from his last spell here when yes he was better but he’s about 6 years older now and hasn’t played much for years. When’s the last time you saw him play?

Get him in!!.. no reaction to last 2 games what so ever, would be chuffed if came in had we won them. Top top player at this level and someone people could learn a lot from.

So, the club has changed its policy of developing our own players after two games then? Lets get CB and CFs sorted on loans first. What do we do, get linked with a keeper and winger. Lets bring in more midfielders while we're at it. Only at the rangers!

BOS and Smyth will get the chance to learn from Routledge. IMO, we need go get routined players in all ereas.

Yes, CB and CFs are priority. Not wingers and fullbacks. But if we're bringing in 5 or loans then why not the latter

If we get routledge in then this would make sense imo from a financial perspective for the club.

although from a footballing perspective it would of been nice to have Samuel, routledge, smyth and Wsolev all competing for the wing positions.

We need experience, yet we have Pawl and do not even include him in the squad.

Pawel hasn't been right all ladt season and a bit the season before when Ollie changed him to wingback, who knows maybe he has completely lost his confidence and is way out of form because of it. He might not be showing enough hunger in training or may even have asked for a loan or permanent move of his own hence the rumours about him going. It could be a case of one man out who has lost confidence and maybe wants out and one in who has everything to prove and wants to play football. A fee for Wszolek and a loan for Routledge without any future commitments.

Not the case at all though, is it? And I'm pretty sure that everyone has said experience is what we need to help out the young players, is that not what Routledge would bring? If Smyth and BOS are going to learn from someone I think Routledge would be a top signing on loan.

I agree. Whilst it is important for Smyth and BOS to get games QPR also need some experienced players to step in to help them along.

So is it youngsters or experience? Last season anyone on here who advocated signing an old head to help the kids was told that wasn't the way the club was going. Now we realise we need one or two players with experience - although I thought that was why McLaren was brought in. What will it be next week?

Actually we’re going for a combination or youth and experience.
