In fact he had a newly constructed mini tower thing to sit in to watch the match. Certainly doing things differently.

Dave Sexton always sat in the dugout. In fact it really was a ‘dug out’ in those days as it was literally eye level with the pitch....and he didn’t do badly ;-) Times / methods change though
