Minor detail but since the season ended we have lost a number of our defenders and got one replacement so far ...

A hyper active, blind jack russell would be an improvement on Ollie. Certainly more tactical nouse.

i thought we played ok at times, nothing special although eze's goal was pretty nice. not too fussed about the result really as it's only preseason and just something to build up match fitness for team.
not sure on the 4123 though, leaves us a bit open to counter attacks and i don't think it'll bring the best out of our players. 4231 looks like it'd suit our team way more

pretty decent. nothing spectacular in 45 mins but looked vocal and commanding at the back. seems to like being the last line of defence but his perception looked pretty good and he was good in the air along with comfortable with the ball at his feet
