The dark hoops Norths posted, the GK shirt. That would have been a decent away shirt.

Those who say kits don't matter are wrong. A lot of sides over the years have had a problem kit. The Man U grey which Fergie ditched mid season. There was a Liverpool one which seemed to hex em. Gooners hated the blue away last term, not a happy kit in terms of points collected.

There's always been a psychology thing going on in sport re kit, well documented.

EDIT just had a dekko at the pink, the shorts are pretty revolting, look like they've faded in the wash. Always a mistake to try and be on message design wise, pink is soooo two years ago.....

He actually ditched the shirt at HT against Soton away in 96.

Just because its pink doesn't mean it will be a problem kit, we will more than likely wear it on opening day and if we win?…..….…...........
Our away for last year was woeful and both 2nd and 3rd kits were hoops

Think that might have had something to do with the gaffer ;)

We used to play skins vs shirts down the park, tatoo the badge, bobs yer uncle away kit sorted for ever. Plus it would soon sort the Adel's of this world......

Didn't Fergie claim it made the players blend in with the crowd?

Let's call time on pinkgate, players back in training tomorrow, who cares what they wear, 3 points at Preston is the first target.

Main problem I think I have with the pink kit is that we always seem to lose when wearing these random colour kits. Probably not statistically correct at all but for some reason feel we have a better chance in the traditional red n black. We lose away most of the time anyway of course...maybe this pink kit will be lucky for us.
