I liked Doughty and I think he can get another lge club, he had a decent knack of getting goals at Swindon
so wish him all the best, He's one of ours came through our youth system

He probably has another club lined up. Unlikely that a player would cancel a contract with 2 years left to run. Jack Rodwell sitting pretty for example!

basically you should've a handful of games behind you by the time you hit 20 and then be an established regular thereafter. The way they wrap these youngsters in cotton wool these days is pathetic. I'm referring to the way Eze gets rested after one game

Weird one with Doughty, he was clearly our best youngster in years but didn’t do well when given chance. Shone onloan in league 1 & started well with Boro. Since he left we’ve had loads of young players come through & done well

Peterborough put half their squad up on the transfer list, suggesting that they are selling players regardless. Sounds like he wanted to leave to get a better chance of actually getting a new club asap, he done well at Swindon and played nearly every game for the Posh this season.

We did well to get a fee for him, but he's league 1 level for sure.

To be fair to Doughty he never really had a bad game for peterborough and he never really had a outstanding one, was always solid however Steve Evans new manager has no idea who to put arms around and who to kick up the @rse he just yells like a demented tw@t and Doughty is an arm round player so never going to work out, hes also told Steven Taylor to move on and he stopped posh getting thumped in many a game last season, rumours are in pboro Marriott of to Forest they competing with Rangers for Stevenage lad
