i give him credit for his signings, restoring players confidence after jfh and for keeping us up but frankly he wasn't the guy to take us forward sadly. he did what was asked of him but we hadn't made any progress in terms of results or points, far too inconsistent and eratic formations etc. it was right to get rid of him for sure and bringing in macca is a right coup as he will bring us the consistency and common sense that we desperately need

Delay could be due to McClaren not wishing to work under a DOF, or at least the present relatively inexperienced incumbent whom, by TF’s own admission, is still learning on the job.
