    - We are trying to fix our finances and still progressing with plans to build a new training ground

Success is not always achieved over night and this season we have seen a big transition on the field and behind the scenes. In the end we have stayed up fairly comfortably and Ollie has played his part.

I personally believe we could and should be on a points tally of around 63-66 points right now and Ollie has tinkered to much and was far to stubborn about the 3 5 2 formation.

However, he found two gems in Eze and Smyth and we now play a back 4. Take this into next season with a few more savvy find like scowen etc and I’m sure we will see more progression on the field.

Ollies playing with the team selection right now because we are safe - perfect time to experiment.

I am personally fairly satisfied with this season and actually a little more optimistic about next.
lets at least see what happens over the summer in terms of player recruitment.

TF and co might surprise us.
    Couldn’t agree more

To be fair Tarbs there were a lot saying exactly that this time last year.

Point is that the money is in the rights, to maximise that you need success on the park. We can't even fill LR, so the only case for moving would be the right property deal and at the moment that is far from nailed on.

The situation these days re moving is not what it was ten years ago. The benefit has to be massively demonstrable. WHU aren't making it work despite massive public subsidy, The Emirates does not worry opposition
teams like Highbury did, and The Satdium of Light has been plunged into darkness.

Did we actually sell any of the high earners?

Not as far as I know. The last player we actually got a transaction from was Matt Phillips. Even then we broke even at best.

This is why I'm reluctant to give Les and Hoos a hard time. They're clearly looking at sustainability.

If the manager and players had some consistency.............

Think it's more a case of hollow head watching too much of the Elger sanction.

Just read that article. Sounds like he is getting his excuses in early.

Seems to be focusing on loans.

Moaning about the transfer window being short but neglected to say that the club was one of the majority that voted to shorten it.

So offloading the high earners wasn't any success story.

To be fair it seems to be working because we have one of the better records in the division of scoring late on in games.

Ain't being funny mate, in half the games this season the manager has picked the wrong formation and/or line up to start, then spent 90 minutes trying to fix it. Hardly surprising we score more goals later in games is it?

That is a valid point but what can't be denied is the team has far more spirit this season than last and has come back several times by not letting their heads go down. It has been noticeable.
