FA Cup Semi v WBA!

Honestly there are far too many. Some were big defeats i.e. Leeds 6-1. Arsenal 0-6, Everton 0-4, 1-5, some were dire performances Swansea away 0-0, Norwich 0-1, almost every game under Ray Harford, some the whole day Carlisle 0-1 rubbish journey weather (FA Cup away), Blackpool 0-1 Stewart setting up the winner, blistery conditions. Others were just embarassing non performances Milk Cup Final. But the worst experience and most humiliating must be the one some poor souls witnessed (not me though) against a company's works team...Vauxhall 'bloddy' Motors. How dou you even begin to live down that memory?

The Leeds game was the earliest I have ever left a football match. It was also the coldest day since the Ice Age and I had the misfortune to meet a drunken Leeds mate who wasn't allowed in at that cruddy statue. Misery.

And to think we were 1-0 up!

Leeds 6-1,Southend 5-0,Oxford away under Ray Harford,theres hundreds.

God I had cast that Oxford game to the far reaches of my memory , 4-0 I think and Joey Beaucham made us look like a bunch of school boys and then being taunted by a bunch of yokels.
