I just can't see where we are going to get anpther 16-18 points to stay up.

The team are bereft of confidence, the squad is looking threadbare, the signings haven't filled me with confidence, the board don't seem to care or say anything and the atmosphere and buzz about the place is non-existent.

Sad state of affairs.

Exactly, only 7 or 8 points off the relegation places, 19 games left, and for the reasons you give above, getting caught up in a relegation dogfight isn't impossible, and to my mind, more likely.
