It lacks spirit, passion and determination and you blame one person for that? Flavio gets x amount for Routledge and doesn't look like he will re-invest it into the club with buying players and you blame someone else for this? Flavio treats his fans like s.hite and you blame someone else for this.

i could go on, but you are looking at a portable TV, I'm looking at a 50 incher

You will always get the same people finger pointing the one person and times like this it makes it easier to do.

Reality is the players and the owners have to take responsibility, if you think its all down to one man, than thats your opinion. Not mine.

It really is the 'brick' and 'wall' scenario with you!

FB is evidentally messing our club up, but for you to dare say GP is the least responsible just proves how far up the mans rear you actually are. You say FB sold WR? Are you saying our Manager and DOF had no input? Behave. As for our squad on paper, on paper means nothing, plus we were not exactly pulling up any trees previously. Oh, how great is it that you moaned when we were drawing Nil-Nil, losing One-NIL or winning One-Nil under PS and now we just get hammered. Unless we score 3 goals a game we are struggling to draw! and as for the comment about it being my opinion not yours - well duh, I wrote it - not you - so simple deduction states it belongs to me.

The main reason (imo) that GP has to go is that whilst he has the DOF role and controls who comes and goes then no self respecting decent football manager is going to come anywhere near us and until we get a decent manager in full control of team affairs we are going nowhere other than backwards and possibly down. I don't think we'll go down this year although we may go close but next year looking at the squad every chance. (Just my opinion of course)

The thing we shouldn't forget is that with Paladini, it isn't just this season or last season; the club has been a car crash since he took control.

OK, so he inherited a bleak picture, but rule 1 of a business is INCOME = EXPENDITURE. Gianni's team set budgets EVERY season and then when a manager wants to blow the budget (they ALWAYS want extra players), Gianni rolled over, borrowed more either off ticket sales or ABC and spent more than we earned.

This went on season after season and the debt spiral-led instead of being managed.

Communication was embarrassing with him at the helm and it seemed that he found it really difficult to tell the truth in fear of losing friends with the fan base. And then he threw out at established QPR bodies like A Kick Up the Rs when all they did was tell the truth. He was even offered a right to reply there and declined.

Disaster after disaster marked his tenure and then he apparently redeemed himself by getting some money in - the ONE thing that could have saved his QPR rep.

Not totally his fault that Briatore has turned out to be a controlling meglomaniac (although if some told us that we should thank him for bringing in a saviour, we should be able to blame him for this...) and you might well take the view that the mess we were in was due to his lack of control of the company finances, but it hardly has saved his rep, has it?

And, let's face it, he is not very good at his DoF job, is he (?), although he appears to have done alright in terms of salary AND interest free loans!

So, Gianni might be a nice guy, he might have becomepassionate about QPR, he might work very, very hard, but he has proven himself to be pretty poor at his various jobs over the last five years or so.

How can we sack 9 managers for not doing their jobs correctly and the overseer/recruiter/Director of football remains in his position.

If I recruited so many 'failures' in my role it would only be a matter of time before my boss said....mmmm not sure you are the right man for this job.

The recruitment of players has been a shambles as well, too many loans, not enough quality permanents, no clear recruitment strategy.

Wouldn't be a problem if our results were good but they are most definitely not.

If his not responsible for that debacle I would question what is he on the payroll for?

Every time a 'quality' player becomes available I see that Forest are after them, WHY AREN'T WE. Latest being Moses from Palace and MacArthur from scottish side. Young, ambitous, keen players with experience in the British game. That is what we need. Not old has been loans or failures. It is not hard.

                      yeah

yeah,i dont see how people can #### of gianni,on the basis that HE HAS DONE HIS BEST,and whether you hate him or love him ,how ever bad it has been it was his best shot
Gianni had a terrible row with holloway over ians desire to buy an aging striker
and Gianni wanted a young lad from oxfordshire who was on southamptons books called BLACKSTOCK
this created a bad atmosphers ending in IANS eventual departure, but now gianni realises that he sits in a couldron of insannity, that loftus road is not a very nice place to be.
So i do expect gianni to pull out sometime in the near future, unless he can bring stability,
TO HAVE STABILITY HE NEEDS TO KEEP THE SAME MANAGER, even the great venables the greatest manager we ever had didnt win anything in the first season,to keep kickung managers out has made us a laughing stock, also WOULD A GOOD MANAGER COME TO US NOW:devil:

Ade - appreciate your comments but genuinely believe that you're wrong fella.

I don't hate Gianni - I just feel that his incompetence in his role is a huge part of the problem and malaise at the club. He needs to go.

Problem is none of us know what his role actually entails. We are all outside looking in, making assumptions. Gianni is a soft target. We will probably never know to what extent the criticisms are valid or not.

For my part I have no issue with the guy. At the moment the club is a bit of a circus but football is about more than winning. Some of my most enjoyable times were when we were skint in League One playing hoofball. It is just as important to get the ambience right as the on the pitch, make it fun again. If I was a glory hunter I would move to Cornwall and support Manure.

Sums up the whole issue of GP rather well I think.

People confuse good intentions and competence as far as he is concerned every time. We fans may all have the best intentions for the club at heart, but does that mean that you could pick any one of us at random to step in and run the club? Of course not.

The issue is further clouded by Flav's involvement. Depending on the circumstances, we are told that nothing happens without his say so, or that he is not a football man and relies on GP to run the club for him. Well, both can't be true. Either way though, either the club's problems therefore lie at GP's door, or he is simply a costly irrelevance, and should really step aside.

I've seen GP operate at first hand, and I know that whilst he is charming and probably does genuinely have the club's interests at heart, he does not have the overall football knowledge required of a Sporting Director/DoF in respect of onfield or off field infrastructural matters.

Unfortunately, as long as he remains in that role, he will be a symbol of the continued failur eof the project and more importantly, our club.

Flavio didn't know Base Soccer from Base Shoes or Base Jumping before he rocked up here.

But now they're the provider of choice.....

Yet FB is responsible for transfers?????
