Me and my Dad were on the flight back from Belgrade after the Partizan game. If the internet had been invented back then, my posts of manager, chairman, player fisticuffs, swearing, back biting, etc etc would have kept this board going for MONTHS!

Plus, my Dad used to work with Jim Gregory's son at Blue Star so we had tons of gossip, just nowhere to post it........

I do actually take notice of what you post as I don't think your internet persona is a fantasy - you are the exception to the rule.
Sadly, or possibly not, I went to Belgrade under my own steam, and got some ballbarings back through customs as a keepsake but enjoyed Iceland far more

I would have loved to have gone to Reykjavik. Didn't get to that one. Assumed the Belgrade game would be a formality. Totally unprepared for 50,000 mad Serbs (Yugoslavians back then!) with flare guns, fireworks and rocks! Still don't think I've seen an atmosphere like that one.

Talking of atmosphere's - Gary Chivers got a very frosty one on the plane!

Mate, Reyk was the single most enjoyable footballing experience of my life, without a doubt.
Like you, I thought Yugoslavia would be a formality and didn't expect to be a sitting duck for target practice!
That one rates as the least enjoyable, at least as much for the locals as the football.
I'd love to hear some of those stories: mind you Chivers never deserved any other treatment than the worst.

ST Renewels will drop further, expect some sort of protest or petition.

Personally think you are on a wind up, writing is on the wall IMO.

I will seriously reconsider renewing next season if Paladini is still handling transfers, I suspect 100's of other supporters to do the same.
