A run round Europe would be nice. Being sat in a bar in Madrid waiting for the kick off would also imply that our current 15 year flirtation with the Grimsbys and Rotherhams of this world was a thing of the past.
I also like the idea of a few Rangers players in the England team. I recall when I was a young lad there was a brief experiment of building the England team around the most successful club team at the time and - unbelieveable as it may seem to some not there then - that was rangers. The Liverpool side that had stolen our trophy was full of sweaties so couldn't be quarried. for England. I was so proud at the time. I'd like my boys to experience that kind of Rangers.
