I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

what would happen if we got curbs in and we lost a couple of games and he made the substitutions the fans didn't like wouldn't the sheep just boo him also?

no doubt there would be some yeh but you get that at every club.
i think the majority would be more than patient if curbs was in charge.i certianly would be.

Of course he is a top manager.

I'd be more than happy for him to get two games to prove the non believers.

Mmmmm... i'm sure if Flavio can get away with the fixed crash and tony blair getting away with murder i'm sure we can get away with an early appointment of curbishley... I think some brown envelopes need to start going around.. and fast.

It was reported that he was set for QPR end of the season, maybe that does have something to do with the west ham case, however, with money i'm sure something can be arranged.

Think Coppell publicly stated once that he wouldn't be interested in joining us because of the way that we are being run. Don't see any evidence that he would have changed his mind.

Chance would be a fine thing.
But I think any fan with half a brain would have a lot more respect for his take on things, than any of the past 3 managers.

I don't reacll any of "the sheep" booing Dowie's decisions while he was at QPR.
Back then, there was a feeling of genuine hope and confidence in the direction we were taking. And Dowie at least had some kind of track record to inspire a bit of faith in him. Not as much as Curbishley, but there was a CV that had some substance to it.

Due to the policies of the owner(s), and the events of the past year... it's hope and passion that has drained from the crowd, and led to the current mass discontent.

IMO, Alan Curbishley (or Coppell) would wipe that away very quickly, and (rightly or wrongly), he would be given the universal support that Hart and Magilton weren't.
Bosses like Curbs or Coppell have nothing to prove, and command respect from fans and players - from Day One.
                        Fact.

well i think most ppl have said our season is over so i think if it is true that he will be our manager then leave it now till the end of season and give him the fresh start of a new season 2 build his team.

Well they must change that view.
Not by splashing millions on players, but by hiring the best possible manager, and having the guts to set him targets within a reasonable budget... and leave him alone.

If they don't, then we are going nowhere... other than around and around in these ever decreasing circles.
