    Cup fever /merged thread/

yes the romance of the greatest cup in the world....
endearing images of a near gentlemens game, hand shakes, broken neck?? i'll play on....

fast forward from the 50s to the yr 2010
elbows, spitting, diving, cheating, hair bands, diamond ear studs and multi color boots!

still qpr are on the threshold of history
a place in the 4th rd awaits for the first time in near a decade...
a glamour tie v struggling bolton, who have made it clear ,prem lge comes first....

    "wemberleeee
    wemberleeee
we're the famous queens park rangers and we're going to wemberleeee
    wemberleee"

well...you've got to have a dream....i believe the time has come for this team to show it's worth, it's passion and desire for qprfc and us fans.
    time for action.
a little cup run could either fkuc our season or re-launch it.

I remember being at Turf Moor for replay last season... think crowd was 2 or 3,000. I think 8,000 is wildly optimistic (and would actually be a decent nuber all things considered).

Yep you are right,I have never entered such a quiet ground as it was that night and to be honest it stayed like that all night apart from the QPR singing.

i thought 10k but weather, panic and a nanny state could well see a low low crowd...
                      8000 may be optimistic

i mean if we venture out we may be doomed doomed

cup glory and a place in qpr fa cup history beckons.

fa cup devalued when manure didn't enter
then a lost european place ( cup winners winners cup)
then clubs like bolton play a reserve team as prem lge is worth more than cup victory.

and really few clubs can win it...big boring 4 then maybe man city, villa or spuds
