Another reason why he will not be the next manager of QPR FC then.

AC coming to QPR will be the first step I feel that the board will have made into getting the supporters back on side. Having him on board and giving him the necessary support, backing and time will begin the start of good times at Loftus Road.

I totally agree with you there.

It would be an admission of past mistakes, would be a fresh and ambitious idea... and it WOULD wipe away much of the past/current gloom.

Probably too much to ask of FB though, especially the first part.

Would you all be happy to sit out the rest of the season if it meant Curbishley coming end of May?

There's also the additional bonus of the fact that PLAYERS would also be more likely to choose QPR if he was here.
They'd see him as a sign of stabilty... and a reason to come to QPR.

                        He's respected.

When I saw that Hart only had a contract to the end of the season, I thought that the board had someone in their sights for a permanant position.

This all fits in with the jigsaw.

I would welcome Alan Curbishley as manager, because of the very reason people are saying that he won't come here, because he won't brook any interference with team selection or transfer targets, it seems that the higher echelons have learned their lesson.

There's no way a man who leaves his last club because of interference from above and because he had no say in players futures, would entertain coming to a place who's board likes to get involved with the day to day running of things, out of the frying pan and all that!
