Kitson is the only one who is a proven goalscorer out of all of our forwards. Simpson is starting to look like he could be but none of the others are.

I think Kitson scored nearly 30 goals the season Reading went up. Out of all of the names bandied about he is the only one who will greatly improve the team. The others are all squad players that are much of a much ness and none of them will set the world on fire.

For me we need a serious cull of the deadwood (I would get rid of Cerny/Ramage/Stewart/Hall/Borrowdale/Cook/Agyemang/Vine/Alberti/Ainsworth/Pellican) and look to bring in 5 or 6 ambitious players that want to prove themselves. At the moment we have too many players scarred by the atrocious way the club has been run. Clean slate.
I'd primarily look for British players ideally Man Utd reserves, Macheda, Welcbeck, Chelsea's Bertrand, Hutton/Bale/Nugent/ mixed in with experience like Shorey/Kitson

        Good news on Cookie !!
        Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
        And many more mistakes

LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

so glad your not in charge then get rid of cerney and cook no way and as for simpson he is the nearest to our 20 goal a season striker we have all been praying for
Dyslexic so please don't feel the need to correct my spelling mistakes as I really don't give a **** and before you say use spell checker if it is spelt right / wright but not in context spell check is useless

Its very difficult to be positive, as we expect more. Must be the only club in living memory of football clubs, that boos after a win.

No, I don't get it either................
You are spot when you state that we expect more. But point is that our owners(like them o rthe way they run the club or not!!) could very well one day feel They have had enough of the personal abuse they unquestionably are getting day in and day out and put our club up for sale. If such a disaster happens How would we then know wheter we in the long run have a club to support any longer or not.And just to put it straight, The fact that our players are boooed not only on the the pich but also when they leave the stadium postmatch on their way home goes far beyond my logic. Cant people see that many a Qpr player must feel very frustrated when almost every manager play him out of position time and time again. In that respect, many suporters of this club in my view are just being rude and provokative as far as I am concerned.:tired::tired: On top of that people complain about the atmosphere at Loftus Road bar the the players seems to lack confidence at the moment. Unbeliveable, if you ask me.

Nice to see we're making progress on the defensive front.

People please, stop fantasising about Kitson 'ooo him and Simpson would be great together'. If anyone on this board is trying to hint that he's our target, you should be suspicious.

So Pete, you're trying to have us believe we bought The Pelican for nothing, and now we've sold him for £500k?

Call me cynical (also), but in a week where the DOF has come under intense pressure for his failings in the transfer market, this stinks of manipulation and spin.
QBP 20th August 2009..."To be fair, I'm glad we are top of the table (for agents fees). Shows we are not a selling club anymore."

but it was a wage being paid that could have gone towards somebody better.
