I thought he left amicably for better things so I would also be interested in what is alleged to have happened and with who?

What do QPR owe him though?......He left for UTD as soon as he was good enough.......I did like him but charity starts at home.....Lee Cook deserves something back for the way he repaid QPR financially but Parker had his cake....let Man Utd look after him now if that's where he wanted to be. Having said that, we were very much a "selling" club back then so he probably had very little choice in the matter if truth be known?

I think your right there mate, when Man utd come knocking at the door, there are only a handful of clubs who leave empty handed.
Paul Parker was a boyhood hero of mine, I felt pride amongst my class mates when he represented England. I met him on several occasions and he always found time for the fans, more than the current bunch .I am intrigued to know why he only lasted a short time whilst doing his pr work

Yeah cause loads of Rangers players have played in a semi final of a world cup havent they. The best defender we have had by a mile since 1978. Over rated? Scandalous!

What player will not want a move to Man U from QPR? get real.

A true hero. I agree about Wilson, superb player too and a real unsung hero. I cannot think of a better left back not to play for England. Come to think of it I cannot think of a better left back to play for Rangers since Ive been going since 1980.

Wilson is the best left back we've ever had. Better than Gillard, just.
Sansom was a better player, but not while at QPR.. he was past it by then.

Obviously none of them can touch Gary Borrowdale for sheer quality, I mean who could??
Who needs cover at full back when we have him?? It's like having 3 players extra.

                          Wibble.

It is unbelieveable that we have just one full back at the club. It actually defies belief.
