I've said it many times, the squad is devoid of leaders. While I'm not particularly thrilled by Quashie coming back, with him in the centre of the park and Big Dan in the back for at least we will have a bit more steel in the team!

Aparently Quashie signed on Monday mate, short term until the end of the season.

dont think gianni rates him, was going on about when he was here there were several games where we let in three goals. still, as we all know hart makes all the decisions around the place and has total control of the budget so that's probably irrelevant... :confused:

Cant see what is so special about him to be honest.....most quick forwards found him out and that was in league 1......went to watford and got turned inside out...went to bolton and hasnt exactly set the world on fire.....On thing with big Dan was that if he got a whack early on in a game he didnt want to know..Yes he was ok in league 1 but since then has he really been that good???????.

Given our flapping goalkeeper and hesitant defending of late, I just want a centre back who targets the ball and takes everything with him: the ball; the centre forward, the lot.

Never gonna win awards for being a skilful ball player but as a colossus, no nonsense defender, who can get the ball away, he's just what we need right now. IMO.

he's in africa with nigeria but has a calf strain so nothing serious please come home big dan and fitz hall can be thrown in the recycle bin.
