What Is Most Divisive Towards The Club??

True.
But the blame is often heaped onto the fans, when they are really only guilty of believing the hype that was spouted by the club. Wrongly, it seems.
Players get booed, fans get divided, players lose interest, fans lose heart, apathy sets in, fans bicker, players come and go, managers come and go... it all seems so familiar now.
But make no mistake about it, this all stems from the owner of this football club making an absolute pigs ear of managerial appoinments, and the pricing structure that has left QPR as THE most expensive club in the whole division to watch. Dearer than Fulham, and plenty of Prem clubs.
Yes, the fans have spat the dummy, and acted like idi0ts at times, the players have lacked the consistancy, the managers have tinkered and made a pigs ear of things... but this thread is about BLAME.
And the blame should rest at the feet of the man at the Top Table, who has made a pigs ear of so many things, but still gets support from fans, purely because they are so scared of what would have happened if he hadn't "saved our club".
Maybe he did, and I was glad he came along, but how long do you allow appalling management at the top level to trickle down and poison the atmosphere at a club for?
Meanwhile you end up with "Positive Fans v Negative Fans" debates.... well WHY are so many "negative"?
Because players are sacked/sold, managers are hired/sacked, fans are told off by the club captain, and they're guilty of expecting big improvements for their big investment - the biggest in the whole league.... meanwhile the owner carries on making terrible decisions, and is plain arrogant.
That's why.Final Version - Hope you like it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d1z0UQ0eqRM

Such is the nature of the average football fan that most of the responses to a thread asking about the effects of being negative are .........well negative! It's not often you hear football fans (especially those of QPR) espouse positivity (even when things are going well!) and says a lot about our naturally pessemistic outlook as a nation and society.
Most on here like to wind up e.g. captain clunge and do little else but pick fault which, let's face it, is far easier than coming up with a reasoned, well thought out and balanced response or comment. So hey live and let live, ignore the habitual "glass half empty" merchants and let the intellect of the majority rise above the knockers, negs and terrosists of this board and football club!

Seeing as this thread is about divisiveness.
So you put anyone who has issues with how the club is run down as basically thick... and those who are happy with goings on at QPR as intellectually superior?
Although without realising it, you've probably shined more light on the answer to Petes original question than most have.Final Version - Hope you like it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d1z0UQ0eqRM

Just commenting on some of the poorly thought out, lazy responses that add nothing to the debate other than causing ill feeling and abuse!
.....and thanks for your backhanded compliment but I am far from happy on the running of my team but that doesn't mean to say that I am devisive, thick, intelligent, superior or inferior to anyone else on this site but at least I do try and add to discussions rather than railroad them or just dimiss them like some.:byebye:Last edited by oldhoop; 04-01-2010, 03:16 PM.oldhoop

A slightly obtuse and lazy character dissection there old man. I like to think of myself as the yin to Pete's yang, or the light side to Pete's dark side. I'm merely a cyberspace check and balance to keep things equitable.QBP 20th August 2009..."To be fair, I'm glad we are top of the table (for agents fees). Agree with that.
Pete you start threads knowing full well beforehand that they are going to wind alot of people up (but, hey-ho it keeps the board busy) and then complain when people answer exactly how you expected.....:amazing:
If you cut down on the antagonising threads, there would be less negativity.
People will still have issues with the club, but it wouldnt be repeated over and over again. But i guess that would mean less traffic :bad_smile:Comment
