Don't believe Gianni even makes calls, every agent knows he is fair game so he just takes the calls instead.

Careful Scott, Beefy has already come undone by blindly believing everything he was spoon fed. A salutary lesson to all the Poodles, dont ya think?

Well maybe I have seen the document from the FA detailing agents payments

You can write to them and request one as well if you like ;)

Albeit how much Helgusons paid his agent is frigging shocking!

                    I do!

Base - still headed up by Leon Angel and has an umbrella of 6 or 7 agents underneath. Have a dedicated agent to deal with Italian transfers too, though not that unusual, I know World in Motion have one too...Robert Segal is in the mix there somewhere too, though he may have gone out solo.

I know exactly what it is based on....The Truth! I have heard first hand of friendly conversation telling Paladini to 'stop going to that the ****** agency'.

Paladini turnt to Base Soccer at a time when our Scouting Network was non existent....a hangover IMO that come from his Pre-Takeover Legacy. This may have been down to lack of funds at the time but this whole Base Soccer theory cannot be dismissed as BS. As for our scouting network now I don't think much has improved.

Paladini is fair game at the end of the day, agents come to him as in the case of Jay Simpson whose agent is a pal of mine and so I'd imagine there have been other instances which are the same.

Since the Take Over I have heard nothing about improving our scouting network or ploughing significant monies into a youth academy / set up...as DOF this is my single biggest criticism of him, everything is short term nothing is long term and this IMO is why he needs to go.

Is that a recent addition Nodge? To deal with demand?

This is what I think happens, Mr Clunge holds a meeting with these agents before hand, get some kind of game plan sorted and then they all head off to see Gianni and then Gianni tells Pete and Pete writes it down here.

That's why we have Mr Clunge keeping a record on Pete, think it's 0/20 now that he's got right

Scouting network was dismantled during the Paladini/Zanotti/Caliendo era. Burtenshaw and a scouting team of sorts was still in place during the Gang of Three era.

In fairness, no. AFAIK, they've had an Italian specialist and Portuguese specialist for a good 5 or 6 years.
