The midfielder is African, well one of them anyway. Not top drawer, but strong and decent... if fit.

The two strikers I've heard are good - one in particular is just what we need.

I am genuinely excited about two of these signings, the other striker has played at this level and scored a few goals, the other midfielder im not sure what to make of him, the quality midfielder and quality striker can both play in the premiership for a bottom half team and score goals

Really would love Kevin Phillips to be one but i doubt that it will be the case. We lack someone that has been there and done it (like Strachan was at Leeds, Wilkins/Reid & Francis were at QPR etc). Think someone like Phillips would not just bring goals but also significant level of experience to the team.

Having said that wil be happy to have someone that can win a few headers up front.
