I'm a defender of Mahon. Always have been and thought his treatment by some was appalling. Good honest underated player.

Several words of caution though....we said the same about Vine & Buzacky when they were out. "Two new signings" etc etc...but both have struggled to recapture past form, although should be given a little longer.

Rowlands & Cook also. I think they may struggle. Cook is no loss, I suspect his re-signing was one to appease the fans, but our win rate with Rowlands playing was very good.
